About Meridian
Behind Meridian is the experience and vision of Raffaele Grasso, an engineer and researcher with over twenty years of career development in solutions for maritime surveillance and environmental monitoring.
I have consolidated my path within centres of excellence, operating in international research organisations of reference for maritime security and defence. As a researcher and project leader, I have participated in cutting-edge programmes in satellite remote sensing and maritime traffic surveillance. In this context, my work focused on developing advanced decision-support systems.
I combine the rigour of research (PhD) with strategic vision (Executive MBA). My competencies integrate multi-source data analysis, machine learning, and sensor networks. I render complex scenarios intelligible by extracting key information to support the decision-making process.
Why MERIDIAN? I founded Meridian to offer high-level, independent technical support. I believe that geospatial data analysis is the heart of the decision-making process.
